Abstract:Historically, revolutions in communication technology have always caused corresponding changes in means and contents of command and control. Therefore, 5G has inspired new hopes and desires for new C2 capacities by many military organizations, especially US armies as witnessed by their recent reports. This paper proposes a few problems and potential research directions on 5G and C2M, i.e., command and control and management that unifies military and enterprise operations.
