Abstract The concepts of Mosaic Warfare, communication requirements and scenarios are analyzed. The communication network supporting distributed operations needs to be reconstructed according to the scenario, which is similar to the reconstruction of 5G networks. Then the 5G network background, management and implementation of slicing are studied and the use of 5G network slicing in two scenarios of mosaic warfare is proposed.
