Underwater Logistics: Concepts, Model and Future Development

Based on the underwater storage and underwater transportation activities, a new logistics model, i.e., underwater logistics, is proposed. Firstly, the paper puts forward the concepts of underwater logistics and analyses the demand and realization path of underwater logistics. By proposing the conceptual model of transportation tools and storage facilities, the transportation mode of underwater logistics is introduced, then the paper presents the application scenarios of underwater logistics. Finally, this paper analyses the advantages and limitations of developing underwater logistics and prospects the development direction of underwater logistics in the future.
