Abstract: Network enabled C2 is a major innovation of the traditional C2 theory in the context of information age, which has profound implications for the development of modern C2 systems. Firstly, this paper reviews the development process of the network enabled C2 concept and discusses its connotations, analyzes and compares it with C2 in the industrial age. After that, we focus on the features of the C2 in the information age. Finally, the metrics of C2 agility is described concisely.
