Abstract: Mission planning is the core of operational command and control, especially with the requirements of the joint operation concept proposed and gone deeper. As the best binding point of tradition means and emerging technologies, mission planning technology has become a key to solve the future intelligent warfare problem. In order to fully utilize the existing and mature research results within the field, conduct more in-depth exploration, the development status and technical route were thoroughly analysed in this paper. The directions for future research of mission planning technology were prospected.
