Abstract: The development of the major military architecture frameworks DoDAF, MoDAF and NAF is introduced. The relationships among these architecture frameworks are summarized. The change of views with their reasons are analyzed from two perspectives: technology and requirement. The meta-models of these architecture frameworks, including CADM, DM2, M3, NMM, MODEM, are compared. Finally unifying is concluded as a trend of military architecture framework evolution.
