Abstract:
“Human-centered” is the essence of command and control (C2) to dispatch and operate resources for group activities. The networking information-centric system of systems (NISs) is the foundation of constructing modern information and future intelligent C2 system. In view of this, integrating the advantages of classic C2 model and human-mechanism interaction concept and combining the connotation of “mechanism”, a new NISs-based C2 conceptual model, i.e. human and multi-mechanism integration (HMMI) model, is proposed according to the facets of C2 functions. The elements relations and various technologies and methods of each mechanism are elaborated in details. Finally, the characteristics of HMMI are analyzed from the basic principle and function realization, and the impact of artificial intelligence technology on HMMI mechanisms are briefly discussed.
