Abstract：With the continuous development of 5G technology, its application in the military field will bring subversive changes. This paper analyzes the significant advantages of 5G technology mainly using millimeter wave, small base station and beamforming technology. It mainly studies the influence of 5G technology on information joint operation extension to tactical level, synchronous and real-time perception of battlefield situation, more rapid and stable information transmission, improved cluster combat capability, and more remote, accurate and efficient support in the construction and development of the team. It is necessary to deepen the research on military application of 5G technology, develop weapons and equipment based on 5G technology, and develop new operational concepts of 5G technology.
