Abstract:With the continuous growth of demand for surface image data and advancement of aerospace technology, the construction of remote sensing satellite earth observation systems is emerging globally, but the growing personalized demand and large-scale resources have also proposed new challenges to the mission planning technology of remote sensing satellites. The current research status of demand planning and satellite scheduling for the key links of the mission planning of remote sensing satellites are overviewed respectively. According to the application needs of future remote sensing satellites, the new challenges faced by mission planning technology are discussed, and a new generation of information technology is combined, the possible development direction of mission planning technology is proposed to provide reference and ideas for establishing the mission planning system with automated, intelligent and networked remote sensing satellites.
