Abstract: A review of existing research reveals certain shortcomings in the systematicness, timeliness, and completeness of studies on American military’s joint operation theory. Based on official American Department of Defense documents, this study analyzes the architecture of American joint operation theory system. It outlines the system’ s framework, situating its various components within a unified structure to understand their characteristics and interrelationships. The analysis specifically focuses on key elements, namely joint operation concepts and joint doctrines, examining their main content, responsible entities, and development processes. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of American joint operation theory system are evaluated.
