Abstract: The performance of an antisubmarine warfare mission planning system affects the command and control capability of antisubmarine warfare. The shortcomings of the current Chinese antisubmarine warfare mission planning systems are analyzed to promote the construction of antisubmarine warfare mission planning system by the subsequent research and improvement work. In view of the experience of American forces, the function, organization, process and contents of American joint planning are analyzed in detail, the basic character istics of joint planning of American armed forces are sorted out, the functions and mutual relations of theoretical method and military technology of joint planning of American armed forces are summarized, the concept of overall organic combination of military theoretical method and technology thought highly by American armed forces are known well. Referring to the relative theories and experience about the joint planning and joint antisubmarine warfare command and control of US Armed Forces, the status of Chinese antisubmarine warfare planning mission system is analyzed from development degree, theoretical methods and key technologies, etc. the development suggestions are proposed including concept method, talent education, technical innovation and digital infrastructure construction.
